The National Institute for Testing and Evaluation
(NITE) was established by the Associated Heads of the Universities in Israel in order to develop and administer a system of exams that assess academic aptitude, in order to facilitate the admissions and placement of prospective students in higher education institutes in Israel.
NITE is a registered public non profit organization. Its members are the Israeli universities that established it.
